‘Storms’
Psalms 107:25
-For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
Mark 4:39
-And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
These two verses shows that the storm's that we are so afraid of and storms that happen in our everyday life rise at God’s command to fulfill His purpose.
Powerful storms range from 100 to 300 miles wide. Depending on their strength, they can last anywhere from a day to a month. They form in low-pressure areas over warm waters. Such as the storms of our lives, our storms do form in events that cause us to be low and the heat sets in. From being insecure and the complete anger depending on your situation.
(“His power can be seen in many aspects of scriptures, such as His ability to control events, human actions, and even nature itself.”)
God has complete authority over all our storms and the storms of nature, using lightning, wind, rain and floods to show His supremacy over nature and His eternal Love for us over the storms that affect our day to day lives. Storms remind us that we are not sovereign - God is.
Such as these past few months and past few weeks have shown us. Hurricane Milton tore through the state of Florida starting from the northeast to the southwest. In its wake Milton left devastating damage through cities. Showing how powerful the storms was.
Milton and so many other storms have left so much damage in their wakes. I’ll name some of the other storms, “Beryl, Helen, Ernesto, and Alberto.”
Also, other storms come in very different forms such as tornadoes. Tornadoes come with frightening power and strength. In the short time that a tornado is on the ground it causes so much damage and destruction.
(“God commands all the storms”)
Storms humble our human pride and powerlessness in the face of something much greater than us.
Yes, storms are greater than us such as hurricane Beryl showed us. As, well as this past week hurricane Milton also showed us again. These two storms alone have shown us humility and have shaken our prides and how powerless we are as humans or as a nation. When these storms came all, we could be bunkered down and hope that it passes over us. Both the storms that I have mentioned have shook me to core. When these storms hit land and caused devastating damage, I can recall each moment so vividly. I was on my knees praying for my family members that live in Texas and in Florida as well.
As, I prayed in these two incidents these storms struck land causing extreme destruction. Many hours later my family and I received good news that everyone was well.
When Beryl hit land in Texas the story was very different for my family and yet still the same in so in the storms destructive power. My family members were okay, but their home was damaged in the wake of the storm. Also, they were a part of the 2.5million Texans without power for a week or even longer for other residents of Texas. God also showed us that in these chaotic times he is always with us and guiding us. The people came together to help each other and to rescue other in need of help. We all came together yet a lot failed to see Gods hand at work.
These storms showed us that, “God is good. All of the time. And all of the time. God is good.”
(“Seeing those rescues should lead people to appreciate Gods deep and loyal love.”)
Ultimately storms call us to trust Gods power and mercy to bring good from tragedy. Storms in the Bible symbolize chaos and divine messages. Also, these storms can mean the storms of our lives. Losing a loved one can bring so many storms to one's mind, heart and spirit. It shakes our very foundation.
As for me one of my storms that has broken me and yet has saved me. Was when my personal family was torn apart by the mother of my children. Or when families are divided in faith or belief. There are so many different storms. I can go forever about all these types of storms we can have. A huge storm in my life was when my younger brother passed. That storm has continued to the very day. I have slowly been able to start talking about it. With God so ever present in my life my heart has found peace and solace.
Also, another huge storm for me that destroyed everything I held dear to me. The mother of my children took them from their home. That destroyed everything I knew. I fell so far down a dark tunnel that had end. Until I fell to the ground on my knees in the country and yelled out our God. He answered me took me in his arms and lifted me back up. And he took me and said to me, “its time” and I obey and knew my journey had just started.
My treacherous journey was just starting, the fight for my children. I spent a year and half without them. The storm was long but yet the lord never left me, and I can say my children are in my life and I am in there's. God always provides protection for us. God is not a storm, but storms do remind us that there are forces so much stronger than us. A strong storm is a reminder that we all need God who is stronger than the storm. There is no storm, physical or metaphorical, is too great for Him to handle. Gods power extends beyond the natural realm, and He has the authority to calm any storm and restore peace.
He offers protection and relief from the storms of life, providing a safe haven for those who seek Him. We can find solace and security in God's presence.
As we sail or drive through many storms of nature or our personal lives it's scary because our vision is obscured which makes us unsure of our direction and fearful of our safety. This is also true of spiritual storms, in which sudden unexpected circumstances seem to turn our world upside down.
Such as in (Matthew 14:22-27) the disciples were being tossed around by the forces and winds on the Sea of Galilee, the disciples learned some valuable truths, which can also help us in the midst of our tempests.
: Jesus intercedes for us:
: Jesus is our protector:
Jesus' watch over the disciples in the boat, and He does the same for us, ensuring that we encounter nothing outside of His will.
: Jesus is sovereign over all storms:
He’s the one who forms them, determines their intensity, guides us through them, and brings to an end in His perfect time.
In the wake of all these storms of nature, human physicality, and spiritual realm. Do we find that life will always find away and life will thrive.
‘Christ has not abandoned us in our storms but instead is intimately involved, using them for our ultimate benefit. Knowing this, we can respond with trust, dependence, and worship.’

We must believe and have strong faith in God. God never leave us,we sometimes draw away from Him during storms, but during storms is when we must draw near to Him. All things are possible with God.
This is a very strong topic.
Enjoyed reading.
Good job.
Isaiah 42:6
God is with you in this storm, and he will protect you as he takes hold of your hand. Cry out to him and trust that he will never take his eye off you.
